Grandma Anna's Oven Pancakes
Recipes Index | Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast
My grandma Anna came to the United States from Sweden in 1914. These oven pancakes were a special treat on Sunday mornings when we stayed at her house in Newport, Washington. We make them in smaller iron skillets for individual servings.
Ingredients
- 5 Eggs
- 2 1/2 Cups Milk
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cup Flour
- 4 T. Butter
Directions
Heat oven to 425 degrees with a 8 or 9 inch iron skillet in the oven. Bake for 25 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients except the butter
Melt the butter in hot skillet
Pour in the batter
Bake for 25 minutes
Serve with choice of toppings, we like fresh fruit in season.
Enjoy!
