A 1909 Craftsman style home in the heart of West Seattle with leaded glass windows, beamed ceilings, fireplaces and a wrap-around porch. Enjoy a spectacular view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains from several of the rooms or from the large deck in the garden. A delicious full hot breakfast is served around the large round table in the dining room each morning. Conveniently located to the Metro bus as well as various shops and restuarants within walking distance.  There are over 30 places to choose from for something to eat or drink within a six block area from the house.  Alki Beach, where the first settlers to Seattle landed, is just minutes away and from there you have the best view of the city.  In the summer there is a water taxi from just east of the beach area to the downtown waterfront and a shuttle bus takes you from our house to the area.  For nature lovers there is Longfellow Creek Trail. Lincoln Park and Schmitz Park.  A Chinese Garden, the first of its kind outside of mainland China, is nearby.  We have a local theatre called ArtsWest which puts on world class plays and has a summer program for youth.
