Rainier, on the WhitePass Scenic Byway,Hwy 12, where you can easily explo re two of Washington's most amazing mountains.
Enjoy the 50 mile view & gorgeous sunsets from large decks built for star gazing. Unwind on the big swing and watch the deer as the song birds serenade you.
Anticipate a memorable breakfast featuring our house specialty, Wild Huckleberry Crepes, Apple Glazed Sausage, Potato,egg & cheese breakfast dish that Ellen created and is featured in Taste Of Homes Cookbooks; a fresh fruit cup, fresh baked croissants and coffee, tea and juice. Yes, that is your first morning's breakfast, You don't have to choose, you get it all. The second day is another treat. Of course anyone with a special diet restriction just needs to let us now and we will gladly try to accommodate your needs.
At night you may be lulled to sleep by the frogs who love to entertain you with their enchantment, and then wake to the sweet melody from the song birds, not traffic and horns.

Baked German Pancake Recipe Details →
This is a fun recipe to serve and easy to make. Our secret is that we use a cast iron pan that is dedicated to use for the pancake and nothing else, so pan stays seasoned.
After serving we wipe out the pan clean with a paper towel but never wash it. The pan is preheated in a hot oven before you poor the batter in so it doesn't need to be washed. This is especially nice to serve on cold fall and winter mornings. -
