Caramel Baked Apples

The wonderful aroma of apples and cinnamon fill your kitchen for a delicious treat or afternoon snack to satisfy any sweet tooth or craving! Best when served warm right out of the oven!
Ingredients
- 6 to 8: medium apples
- 1/2 cup: raisins
- 3 tablespoons: all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup: sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon: cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons: butter
- 1/4 cup: chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup: water
- 1/2 cup: orange juice
Directions
Wash apples; core than peel on narrow strip from around the top edge
Place apples in a deep baking dish
Fill centers with raisins
Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon
Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork
Stir in chopped walnuts
Sprinkle crumb mixture over the apples
Pour water and orange juice over the apples
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour basting occasionally
Serve apples with ice cream!
