When Charlie and Denna fell in love they sat down with a Sears Roebuck catalog to order the home they would share for a lifetime. They choose a 1929 Dutch Colonial which was shipped by rail to the Long Beach Peninsula. Original floors, woodwork, french doors and a 4 foot wide stairway are just some of the homes features that you will enjoy.
The South facing sunroom, with a view of Willapa Bay, is a guest favorite. Wireless internet is accesible from this room, a wide selection of games and puzzles is available. The Parlor has a fireplace and a reading corner. There is a large selection of books and dvd's to choose from. Our cozy dining room has a guest refrigerator filled with bottled water and soda. A hot beverage is always availble for your enjoyment, choose from a wide assortment of teas, hot chocolate or spiced cider. Sweets, fresh fruit and microwave popcorn are available to enjoy at your leisure.
You'll wake to the smell of freshly brewed gourmet coffee. Our breakfast offering starts with fresh seasonal fruit, your choice of juice, homemade muffins or scones , a seasonal entree and bacon, sausage or ham. Fresh Willapa Bay oysters are pan fried for those who enjoy them. Our specialities include baked oatmeal , a double cheese quiche. and smoked salmon hash. We can accomdate any special dietary needs you may have.
Our beautifully restored home sits just within the borders of Nahcotta,WA. Rock the day away in the gazebo, sit on the deck with a good book. Watch the koi, visit the fairy garden or grill dinner over the fire pit, or simply enjoy a glass of lemonade while sitting in the hammock swing. Do it all or do nothing, it's your get away. Easily within walking distance of the Ocean or a turn of the head to view the bay, there's always something to look at. Bike to historic Oysterville or to Leadbetter State Park.
