Carson Ridge Hash Brown Bake
Very tasty breakfast/brunch dish for either 2 or 22, just adjust recipe accordingly.
Ingredients
- 6 cups hash browns
- 1/4 cups melted butter
- 3/4 pack maple ground sausage
- 1 sliced red pepper or tomato.
- 3/4 cup cheddar and provolone cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 6 eggs
- 1 T. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1/2 T. seasoning pepper
- 1/2 T. Mrs Dash
- Worcestershire sauce for flavor
Directions
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
In a medium sized bowl beat together eggs, milk, mayonnaise, and seasonings.
Set aside.
Fry hash browns with butter until golden brown.
Add the egg mixture and fry until eggs are slightly cooked.
Break ground sausage into bite sized pieces and cook thoroughly.
Place hash brown and egg mixture into a greased 9x13 casserole dish.
Arrange the pieces of ground sausage and peppers or tomatoes on top.
Sprinkle with the cheese.
