Nestled amongst 5 acres of majestic evergreens, flower gardens and landscaped native plants, Bear's Lair is a luxurious country estate-style Bed & Breakfast. This post and beam home was lovingly built and handcrafted by your hosts, Giulio and Jenny Santori utilizing timbers and stones from the premises. You may choose to stay in one of our three exquisite rooms in the main house or our Carriage House, which provides 1,000 square feet of privacy and ammenities. During your visit at Bear's Lair you will gain a new appreciation for the elegance of Old World craftsmanship.

Birdwatchers welcome!
Make the Bear's Lair your headquarters for great local birdwatching. Hummingbirds, Northern flickers, Stellar's jays, chickadees, brown creepers, towhees, juncos, pileated woodpeckers, black-headed grossbeaks, Swainson's thrush, band-tailed pigeons, red-breasted nuthatch, brown creepers, herons, ducks, eagles and many more species are regular visitors to the estate.

The Carriage House
Adjacent to the spacious main house, the separate and very private carriage house is the fanciful, storybook cottage that you've always dreamed about. Over 1000 square-feet of space for your comfort and enjoyment. Bask in the warmth of the exquisite, detailed woodwork and the inviting fireplace. Enjoy the luxurious amenities which include a gourmet kitchen, wonderful queen-sized custom log bed and a private all-glass enclosed patio dining room. Full bath and laundry room included.

The Dahlia Room
Renew yourself and get in touch with your natural rhythms by entering the large Dahlia Room which welcomes you into a calming, relaxing environment where you can't help but lose the stress of your work-a-day life. From the sumptuous king sized bed and original artwork pieces, to the muted but tasteful decor, you will be lulled into a tranquil state as you look outside your window into the attractive "secret garden" and listen to the magical water flowing in the whimsical garden fountain. A quiet seating corner with cafe table and chairs invites you to savor your cup of coffee. This elegant room also features a private full bath with oversized shower and tasteful imported tile.

The Rose Room
Picture yourself entering the custom crafted Old World European Rose Room with its elegantly appointed features such as built-in cabinetry, wainscoating, brass sconces, and the welcoming deep piled maroon reading chair that is just perfect for curling up with your favorite book and sipping a hot cup of tea. Immerse yourself in the inviting antique brass queen bed with luxurious pillows that welcomes you to watch a video or catch up on elusive sleep. The large private bathroom features an oversized shower with tasteful imported custom tile.

The Patio Room
Enter the charming and cozy, French country Patio Room featuring double bed, private entrance and bath. Awaken to the wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee from the Breakfast Bear Room where your sumptuous and delicious breakfast will be served.
