A historic Bed & Breakfast and Day Spa. We are the second set of owners that have run the home as a B&B. We have improved the revenue by 40% over the 6 years we have owned the property. Through simple upgrades, like king size beds and painting rooms, to the addition of an outdoor paved area for events and parties, and a pergola for weddings, we have thoughtfully worked at improving the property.
In October 2008 we opened the Attic Day Spa, adding a currently unfilled new revenue stream. The day spa adds a unique complimentary business. Currently we use contractors who are licensed Massage Therapists. The day spa has added around $25K to $30K in revenue with around a 40% profit margin after paying contractors and expenses. In some ways our property would complement owners that included one partner that is a Massage Therapist. The day spa revenue and profits would then increase dramatically.
Our reason for selling is primarily to explore the possiblilities of moving back to to Australia, where we would probably buy another B&B! All of Nathan's family is there and we would like to be closer to them for some time.
Owners would enjoy a very spacious owners quarters. We added on two rooms ourselves to give our family enough space. We are very open to providing training to new owners.
