Forks
The City of Forks is located on the west side of Washington State's Olympic Peninsula. It has traditionally been a gateway to the Hoh Rainforest, wild Pacific Beaches and other Olympic National Park attractions. Outdoor enthusiasts, including those that like to hike, hunt and fish have long made Forks their base. Kayaking and rafting are also becoming popular activities and surfing has lately been rediscovered. Additionally there are many weekend festivals nearby and all around Clallam and Jefferson counties. Bed & Breakfast hosts keep well informed of current happenings and enjoy helping their guests find and plan for the activities that are of interest.
Currently enthusiastic readers of the "Twilight" series of books by author Stephenie Meyer, are coming to Forks to see the actual location of the books' setting. The Forks Visitor's Center has been busy providing maps, tours and directions to these visitors as well as to all the visitors that come to see the natural and scenic wonders that surround our town.
