Arlington

Historic Arlington, located one hour north of Seattle and only 5 minutes off Interstate 5, is the nature lovers respite from big city noise and traffic as well as the perfect central “home base” for those wanting to visit the Best of Northwestern Washington.

Nestled on the banks of the Stillaguamish River Arlington was first settled by logging crews and farmers in the mid 1800’s and reached city status in 1903. Since then it has been growing and thriving yet is still alive with small-town charm.

Arlington and the surrounding areas offer many activities for visitors ranging from salmon fishing, Fireside Micro Brew tasting, shopping in unique boutiques, 4 Star Dining, bike riding on the 17 + mile Centennial Trail, U Pick Organic farms,  river rafting and even feeding a Kangaroo at the Outback Kangaroo Farm. Premium Outlet Shopping is just a few minutes south along with The Hibulb Tribal Museum and Cultural Center.

There are countless walking and hiking trails in Arlington which also serves as the gateway to the scenic Mountain Loop Highway and North Cascades National Park. If scenic drives and hikes aren’t your piece of cake you can stop by the antique movie theatre to catch the latest blockbuster, savor a croissant fresh from the bakery oven or head down to the Rocket Alley Retro bowling alley for a few games and a burger.

Come to Arlington…You’ll be glad you did!
